INEllipses

A collaboration with DUQLAV: Manon Siv Duquesnay & Dasha Lavrennikov.

"We are exploring and composing other possible known and unknown geometries, geographies and geologies of corporeality (extended internal and external ecologies), through a movement and performance creation process. Through INclinations and Ellipses as physical, philosophical, ethical and aesthetic tools, we incite and are provoked by the body, the human and the non-human. INclinations and Ellipses are related to the permeable, the perceptive, the unstable, the intuitive and impulsive, the risky, the fascinated, the reversible, the interweaving webs of self space and other. Authentic decadence, fragile intensity, oscillating continuums, between singularity and multiplicity. Our movement research is an elliptical embodied thinking and doing beyond knowing - towards alternate states of being, moving and performing together. Other possible dimensions for dance, where the past and future extend through each other, generating relations that shift beyond the vertical, horizontal, binary and anthropocentric."
